Chemical Records

This document will get you started with nutrient records and explain everything you will need to know about your nutrient records

Mandatory Setup

Configuration Operator's and Spray Rigs can't be created during the chemical application form so be sure to set them up first.

Setup an operator in organization settings and a spray rig in chemical settings

Get Started navigate to Records => Chemical using the sidebar and Press the "Add Chemical" button which will open the chemical form.

Fill out all the applicable details about your crop and hit next.

Spray Details

You will need to fill out the details unique to this specific spray, this step helps build the picture of why you are spraying.

Simply select your spray rig from the list and verify that the details are correct

Mulitple Boom Setups

Currently we don't natively support multiple booms within the same spray. For the time being you will need to create two mostly identical records utilizing two different spray rigs

Application Boundary

This screen is for you to select the area you will be applying nutrient, its based off two different layers, either the crop layer or the paddock layer. If you are applying nutrient "whole crops" then click all the crops you will be applying it too and hit save. However to apply nutrient to a partial boundary or without a crop you might have to do some different things depending on the scenario.

Partial Block Applications

In order to apply chemical to part of a block you will need to use the row generator, right click on the block (long press on mobile) to open the row generator and enter the desired rows.

Product Details

In this step you specify what products have been applied and at what rates, if you have pre-configured custom brews earlier you can use the dropdown to automatically populate the products and rates and adjust them as needed.

You can add multiple products be pressing the "Add Product" button which will add another row of Product | Rate | Unit for you to fill out

This is where you add your adjuvants or anything else you put in your spray mix

Weather Details

At a bare minimum you will have to enter at least 1 Weather event, there's only 1 field that you will need to change to continue, and thats the "Time of the Recording", to indicate when you took this weather reading, everything else that is required is pre-populated with sensible defaults, change them as needed.

Current Legislation requires 3 weather events, before, during, after (10/08/2023)

Comment

This field allows you to add any extra information you want to provide about the spray record, "wind came up, had to stop early".

Hit Save, and thats it! you should see a popup banner saying chemical application added succesfully!
