Crop Records

If you're looking to get started with crops, see the initial setup tutorial on crops

Ploughout

Once your crop has completed its cycle and its time for it to removed, you can indicate that this crop has been ploughed out and it will no longer be active.

There are two ways to get the this action:

  • On the Records - Crop Table, using the "Three Dots" on a table row and choosing the "Plough out" action
  • Navigating to the Crop Detail View by clicking on a Crop Record row, and clicking the "Ploughout" button on the top right

The only step in the form is to provide a date that your paddock got ploughed out. Hit save! and now you're crop has been marked as completed.

Planting your next crop

In order to plant your next crop for a block you will first need to ploughout the existing crop as the system doesn't allow overlaps in the timeline (just like the real world)

Crop Harvests

Tracking your harvests is really important, for most crops its how you get paid and you'll definetly want to keep track of that so you can gain insights about your business.

Harvests are located on the crop view page, Records => Crop => Click on a crop row. This will take you to the crop detail view page where you can see more information about your crop, past or present. After scrolling down to the bottom you will see the harvest table with a "Add Harvest" button. Press that to launch the harvest form.

Harvest Attributes

The attributes that are shown in the form are dependant on the crop, each crop has values unique to that crop type and wouldn't be relevant for others. The only consistent field available on all forms is yield.

Currently there is only conifguration for Sugar & SoyBeans, contact us to configure a different crop type

This is what the harvest form looks like for Sugar, as the applicable details for this crop are ccs & fibre:
